I’m dedicating this Lazy Affiliate 2.0 review to my dad who always said, “There are no shortcuts in life.” But Dad never met Mark Bishop, successful affiliate marketer and creator of the much-hyped course, “Lazy Affiliate 2.0,” or LA 2.0, as Mark refers to it.
Lazy Affiliate – Shortcut to Success
Dad, sorry to question your wisdom, but there are paths you can take that are simply shorter (smarter?) and will still help you get to your destination. Remember, the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line? Well, the shortest distance in getting from where you are now to the affiliate promised land of wealth and success may be using Lazy Affiliate 2.0.
Now I really should not use hyperbole or over-exaggeration when examining this course, but it’s clear it has the potential to change your affiliate status. You can go from broke and directionless to strategic and profitable.
But make no mistake, the course title is misleading. It is not for the lazy, indolent, or unindustrious among us. It requires that four-letter word called ‘work.’ But here’s the good news: it requires much less work than what you’re probably already doing.
Our friendly product creator, Mark Bishop, asserts that he can launch a Lazy Affiliate 2.0 campaign in 2 hours. And I bet he can! But mere mortals like myself require more cerebral energy and time to put all the jigsaw puzzle pieces together.
But after reviewing the Lazy Affiliate 2.0 training, I believe that I can get a launch going by the time the kids get back from school. And I better, because when they come back, my work productivity dramatically decreases. 🙂
The most important element, however, is not the time that’s needed to complete your first LA 2.0 campaign. It’s the relief and satisfaction knowing that you’ll be able to put all the Lazy Affiliate 2.0 plan pieces together. The end result – hopefully, a masterpiece that will provide a nice return on investment.
And once you perform one campaign, the subsequent ones will be the proverbial piece of cake. You’re then earning passive income and scaling it to expand your bottom line.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 Review Microscope – What’s Inside LA 2.0?
The course is divided into two primary components: pdfs and videos. Both formats will clearly explain Mark’s methodologies, and bolster your knowledge base and shorten the learning curve. Although some affiliates are mum as to the main strategy (do they even have a copy of the course?), I’ll spill the beans.
In a nutshell, Mark is using … drumroll … press release power. Yes, some gurus claim that press releases are dead and provide little value. Dismiss that belief from your mind. Mark is living proof that press releases are still very much alive and favored by Google. His $1,200+ dollars from one press release in about a year should convert disbelievers.
Press Release 2.0 Impact
Now, here is where the LA 2.0 strategy gets interesting. You can no longer (well at least on almost all press release platforms) send your visitors directly to an affiliate offer. There’s no need to worry as Mark has figured out a better plan. His press release audience will be taken by the hand (or click of the mouse) to an attractive landing or squeeze page. This page will serve to warm up and pre-sell visitors so that he/she will be more amenable to purchase. And yes, from that landing page or squeeze page, the prospective customers get ushered into a product creator’s sales page, perhaps ready and eager to buy.
So again, and I don’t mean to sound like an episode of Dora the Explorer, follow this path: press release, squeeze/landing page, affiliate offer page.
But just because you now know where to go does not mean you know how to get there. And that’s where Lazy Affiliate 2.0 comes in handy. It provides the roadmap with breadcrumbs to guide you along without any missteps.
A Quick Review of Lazy Affiliate 2.0 PDFs
There are four main pdfs that are accessible in LA 2.0, and are organized in a systematic fashion. Let’s quickly review the pdf content:
The first pdf provides an overview of the LA 2.0 strategy. I offered a synopsis of it above. Understanding the general concepts will enable you to implement the details.
PDF #2 also contests the notion that Fiverr is useless. While many of the Fiverr gigs are totally inane and some even counter-productive, there are gems hidden in the Fiverr mines. You don’t have to dig for them because Mark indicates their exact location. He reveals other tricks to get your press release the coveted top Google spot it deserves.
The third pdf is perfectly suited for those struggling to find a niche. Indeed, Mark reviews the often ignored but highly profitable desperate and embarrassing niches. Here’s your hungry crown and Mark Bishop shows you how to feed and satisfy them.
The resources pdf is the fourth one and makes the life of a lazy affiliate even easier. Here, you’ll be privy to all of the resources that Mark uses for his campaigns, such as inexpensive stock images, plugins, Fiverr gigs, and more. You do not have to use all the resources, or any for that matter, that Mark uses. However, I’m more inclined to follow the exact footsteps of a successful marketer, whenever possible.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 Review – Watch Those Videos
This is my favorite section of the Lazy Affiliate 2.0 course as I have an insatiable appetite for over-the-shoulder training. I much prefer to see someone implementing steps that I need to duplicate rather than reading about it. Here’s a brief summary of the video compilation:
LA 2.0 – Introduction & Research
Video #1 (Introduction) – You can’t argue with success. Here, Mark shows you the case study where one press release with traffic ($15 expense) resulted in over $1,200 of income. (Let’s rinse and repeat that experience!) Mark selected a niche in that desperate and embarrassing category, and was handsomely rewarded.
Video #2 (Research) – I have an acquaintance who is an affiliate marketer who tells me that he does his research after launching a campaign. He learns what doesn’t work and then makes modifications. I wouldn’t recommend this modus operandi. Perform ample research before a campaign. In this video, you’ll learn more about choosing niches, using Clickbank, taking advantage of a keyword tool, and engaging in other research-related tasks. You’ll know what product and niche to highlight for your first LA 2.0 endeavor.
Setting Up the LA 2.0 Components
Video #3, #4, and #5 (Domains, Hosting, and WordPress Sites) – I don’t often recommend skipping any part of a course, but for veteran affiliate marketers and even some intermediate marketers, you have my blessing to skip to Video #6. These videos encompass buying domains, setting up hosting, creating a subdomain, and developing a WordPress site with necessary plugins. Now I watched these videos without regret as they just reinforced my knowledge, and I did learn one or two tidbits from them. Newbies and struggling affiliates should take the time to view these videos.
Video #6 (LA 2.0 Method, Step 1) – Yes, Mark performs this can’t-miss over-the-shoulder training. Here, he is actually building a sub-domain for another embarrassing and desperate niche. The wordpress site is taking shape as he selects his plugins and customizes his settings. He uses the OptimizePress theme which offers great flexibility and a highly aesthetically-pleasing look. However, it’s price may be prohibitive for many. Rest assured, you do not have to use this theme. In fact, in Video #6A, Mark reveals a much cheaper alternative theme. Please note, again, that it’s not necessary to use all of Mark’s resources as long as you follow his basic steps.
Compelling Landing Page & Case Study
Video #7, #8 (LA 2.0 Method, Step 2 / Landing Page – Case Study) – It’s time to make the most attractive squeeze or landing page you can on that subdomain. (You don’t have to use a subdomain either, for that matter.) Here, you’ll learn the components of a squeeze or landing page and how Mark structures it to get the biggest potential number of sales. You really have to take into account the font and images you use, where to place headlines, the copywriting you need to employ, and a vast array of other considerations. After these videos, you’ll have a much better conception of how your squeeze or landing page should look. The case study that Mark includes will offer some ‘Aha moments.’
Now, it’s important to realize that you must offer bonuses. Without this incentive, many prospective customers will click another affiliate’s link – someone perceived to be more generous than you.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 Review – Enticing Bonuses
Video #9 (Bonuses) – Yes, this is an indispensable video because you really need to know what type of bonuses to give, how to structure them in an appealing way, and how they can be used as ‘link bait’ to start building your list. Are you concerned that you don’t know exactly how to build a list? Watch this video and you’ll feel much more confident in this area. Mark speaks at length on autoresponders and how to use them. (His preferred autoresponder, at least at the present time, is Get Response.)
LA 2.0 – Tying Up the Loose Ends
Video #10 (Finishing Touches) – This video will help you build a more complete, if not FTC-compliant, site. You must not forget to include disclosure and privacy policies, for example.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 – Another Convincing Case Study
Video #11 (Case study) – The proof is in the pudding. Mark shows you the profitability of the campaign he launched. Now, the income may have been modest from it, but a nice amount in light of the number of hours it took him to complete the campaign. Moreover, predictably, his income will build from that one campaign. Future commission may easily materialize from it. In addition, he can develop a host of other campaigns, using that rinse and repeat mindset, and get that wallet fatter.
Summary of the Course
Video #12 (Summary) – As any effective teacher would do, Mark summarizes the main principles of his course. You’re officially now a Lazy Affiliate 2.0 graduate. You’ll know that some degree of laziness can pay.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 – Are There Any Upsells, Downsells, or OTO’s?
OTO’s and Other Offerings – One OTO, highly recommended, is the Stealth Campaign. Let’s face it, new domains can take a lot of time to build Google trust. Mark reveals an incredibly insightful strategy to jumpstart your LA 2.0 campaigns. You’ll find out how Mark Bishop gets instant domain and page authority for his sites. You can even use the knowledge presented here to develop your own private blog network, if you’re so inclined.
Mark also offers squeeze/landing page templates. They have already proven successful and you can just modify them to suit your needs. This will save a lot of time when launching campaigns. Again, you’ll also gain reassurance that your Mark Bishop Jr. landing page will work.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 Review – Is it Worth Purchasing?
Consider the following pros:
Starting at $14 (dime sale to $27), and with a 30 day money-back guarantee, this course is truly worth the expense.
You’re getting a viable business strategy and plan, one that is quick to implement and see results.
The chances of a successful campaign are in your favor. While not all campaigns will be winners, this method should work without too great an effort through trial and error.
You will not have to spend too much money on testing and perfecting Lazy Affiliate 2.0. Once you have the domain and hosting in place, you can actually launch a campaign for less than $20.
The primary strategy does not depend on labor-intensive, frustrating search engine optimization efforts. You’re piggy-backing on press release SEO juice.
You’re actually getting much more than one profit-pulling course. You’re also learning how to build lists that can provide a sustainable income for years to come.
Profit can materialize quickly here. You’ll know whether a given campaign in a winner or loser in a short time.
Lazy Affiliate 2.0 is scalable. Rinse and repeat when you’ve found the right type of niche, product, press release, and landing page.
The case studies alone are worth the $27 investment. This goes way beyond theory here. You’ll see what actually works!
Mark Bishop’s slow and methodical style appeals to many. You will not get lost in this training as it is extremely newbie-friendly.
You also have to consider the reputation of the product creator. Lazy Affiliate 2.0 mastermind, Mark Bishop, has an impeccable reputation in the Internet and affiliate marketing communities and has developed top-notch products, such as Niche Synergy and Instant Profit Silos.
Are there any Lazy Affiliate 2.0 negatives?
My criticism involves the title of the course. My review title is equally misleading in this context. The truth is, you can’t be lazy and expect to prosper. You will have to expend some sweat equity. But you will not have to work nearly as hard as a ‘lazy affiliate,’ so to speak, as when developing a niche site, for example.
A couple of videos stalled during viewing. Perhaps it was my temperamental computer that was simply acting up. However, if this happens to you, just let the video stream for a minute or two and then you should be able to watch it without interruption.
Last Words …
Remember the path: press release, squeeze/landing page, affiliate offer page. If you follow Mark Bishop’s steps along this path, the money should also follow. You may still be considered a lazy affiliate, but a happy one!
